West Coast Traveller and Black Press Media have awarded to first of seven prize packages in this year’s Proudly Canadian Contest.

Reader Christian Brand from Vancouver is the early bird winner, taking home an amazing prize package from the BC Lions. Valued at $1,500, the prize includes two season tickets for the remainder of the 2025 season, two BC Lions jerseys – to rep the home team in style! – and a $100 food and beverage voucher to enjoy during the games.
