Located along Snohomish River, Historic Downtown Snohomish is a quaint town with a unique charm and history. You can explore unique shops, dine at locally owned restaurants and learn about the town’s historical heritage.

The Historic Downtown Snohomish Association, a volunteer-run nonprofit, serves as a valuable resource for visitors looking to make the most of their time. Accredited as a Washington State Main Street Community, one of only 38 in the state, the association preserves and revitalizes the downtown while fostering a welcoming atmosphere for both residents and visitors.

Why visit historic downtown Snohomish?

“Downtown Snohomish offers visitors a chance to step back in time while enjoying locally owned businesses,” says Ken Coman, HDSA’s board president and local business owner.

“The town has boutique shopping possibilities and antique stores and dining options with a view of the river.”

Beyond its picturesque setting, Downtown Snohomish is a place where many paths intersect, with some historic architecture and contemporary murals. Visitors can take a Historical Walking Tour to learn about the city’s historical past.
