The Rossland Museum is planning plenty of all-ages fun this weekend.
From noon to 4 p.m. Sept. 14 and 15, the museum hosts an afternoon of live music and fun for the family at its annual Arts and Culture Festival.
In partnership with the Rossland IncrEdible Market, the museum will be featuring Kootenay artisans, vendors, and food trucks alongside art workshops, a bouncy castle, lawn games, scavenger hunts and crafts.
Workshops include a ceramics session with Lana Jamieson at 1 p.m. Sept. 14, and a Styrofoam plate printing workshop on Sept. 15 at 1 p.m. with the VISAC Gallery’s Erin Shuttleworth.
These workshops are free, but space is limited, so those interested should register in advance.
“Make this your weekend’s main event, or stop by to enjoy our food, music and artisans … ,” organizers say. “This festival is an opportunity for our region’s local visual and performing artists to showcase their talents to the public as we celebrate the spectacular culture in our area with live music, artist demos, artisan booths, and more.”
Entry is free, but donations are appreciated.
