With entries to the sixth annual Amateur Photographer of the Year contest now closed, it’s time to vote for the People’s Choice Award!
View the top 100 finalists across six categories here and vote for your favourites – you’ll help determine who will be the 2024 People’s Choice winner!
Voting will be open until 5 p.m. Dec. 15, 2024 and the People’s Choice winner will receive a $200 Save-On-Foods gift card. In addition, all voters will be entered into a random draw for a chance to win a $100 gift card from Save-On-Foods.
The winner will be announced later in December along with our Grand Prize, First Place, Second Place and Third Place award winners, as selected by our judging panel.
- Grand Prize – Valued at $2,686: Round trip airfare for two with Air North, Yukon’s Airline, from Vancouver, Victoria, Kelowna, Edmonton or Calgary return to/from Whitehorse; a two-night stay in a Deluxe Room for two at any NVD hotel in Yukon; two-night Aurora Viewing for two people from Northern Tales.
- 1st Place – Valued at $1,300: Two Pursuit Pass Rockies (including admission to: Banff Gondola, Lake Minnewanka Cruise, Columbia Icefield, Skywalk, Maligne Lake Cruise, Golden Skybridge, and Open Top Tour, plus $600 towards a stay at Baker Creek by Basecamp in Lake Louise, AB in a family superior two-bed cabin.
- 2nd Place – Valued at $1,000: two nights in a Kumsheen Rafting Resort cabin, plus a full-day Legendary Thompson Paddle or Power Rafting Trip, and three meals for two adults.
- 3rd Place – $1,000 toward a luxury yacht rental from All of Me Yacht Charters.
