Clearwater: This place should be on your must-sled list

If snowmobiling is your passion, then the Clearwater area should probably be on your must-sled list.

The area is blessed with abundant snowfall and cold weather, and trails in the area are diligently maintained.

The powder bowls of Raft Peak, north of Clearwater, are popular with sledders, who enjoy the network of groomed trails and a couple of alpine cabins.

Sledders also head to the roads and trails of the Nehalliston Plateau. Long-distance sledders can also make it as far as 100 Mile House.
