With Delta’s low elevation, cyclists can enjoy some spectacular bike rides. For 11 kilometres of forested trails or a scenic picnic, visit Watershed Park.
Explore the local Delta charm with local shops, wineries and farm tours. You’ll find many unique shops and restaurants to visit in Ladner Village, iconic for its fishing heritage. Visit Tsawwassen for a day at the beach, to enjoy some saltwater fishing or a shopping trip to the Lower Mainland’s premier shopping mall, Tsawwassen Mills.

The climate is warm and temperate in Delta. Rainfall occurs falls mostly in the winter, with relatively little rain in the summer.
Destination BC is developing a new campaign to promote hyper-local travel where residents are “tourists-in-their own hometown,” while practising the COVID-19 safety protocols as recommended by the B.C. Provincial Health Officer. Many B.C. parks are now open, and national parks were to open as of June 1.

Vehicle: Delta is easily accessible by the Trans-Canada Hwy/BC-1 W and BC-17 Highway or the BC-99 N Highway.
Flying: Vancouver International Airport is only about 20-minutes away from Delta.
Transit: The Canada Line Bridgeport Station connects travellers to bus routes in Delta. Travellers can also take the SkyTrain to Scott Road station for bus routes that service North Delta.
