The mountains, the ocean, the beaches, the forests. Vancouver has it all.

Here are some of our favourite spots for getting Instagram-worthy photos.

Prospect Point

Photo by Lou Fasullo (Amateur Photographer of the Year contest 2018)

Prospect Point is at the northern tip of Stanley Park, and is a great place to capture the North Shore mountains, the sunset on the horizon, and the Lions Gate Bridge.

Located at: 5601 Stanley Park Drive

Kitsilano Rope Swing

@LeahaHammond

Kitsilano Beach is a sweet piece of paradise. This hidden swing is easy to miss, but is an opporunity for a carefree, fun photo.

Located at: 2601 Point Grey Rd

Alley Oop

Also known as the Pink Alley, this is one of Vancouver’s boldest photolocations.

Located at: 439 Seymour Street

Cherry blossoms galore

Photo by Steve Wong (Amateur Photographer of the Year contest 2018)

Vancouver is home to nearly 40,000 cherry trees blooming each year. Attend a cherry blossom festival at Queen Elizabeth Park and pose among the pink snow-like blossoms. Blossoms bloom at different times from early March to late April.

Park located at: 4600 Cambie Street

Bloedel Conservatory in Queen Elizabeth Park

Photo by Jesse Wamboldt (Amateur Photographer of the Year contest 2018)

Escape to the sights and sounds of the tropics with this lush indoor dome-like garden. Take photos of more than 120 free-flying exotic birds and 500 plants and flowers.

Located at: 4600 Cambie Street

Fun Alley

@SamanthaHodhod

This alley boasts colours and shapes all over its walls for your perfect photo.

Located at: 106 West 1 Street, North Vancouver

Jukebox Printing

@BARKography

Strike a pose in front of the colourful stripes at Jukebox Print Shop.

Located at: 165 West 4 Avenue

Murals everywhere

Check out Main Street for more bright colours and striking backdrops.

Located at: Main Street near East 7 Avenue

Canada Place

Nothing says Vancouver quite like a photo of the five white sails at Canada Place.
