The Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival is inspiring outdoor enthusiasts with a hybrid program for 2022 featuring both in-person and online screenings.

As the festival marks its 25th anniversary, it’s showcasing a specially curated program filled with accomplished guest speakers, engaging workshops and panel discussions, in addition to more than 50 films about climbing, snowsports, adventure, mountain culture, the environment and more. This year’s in-person shows run in Vancouver through March 6, with virtual shows to March 27.

Included in the line-up will be numerous world, North American and Canadian premieres, showcasing powerful stories that will inspire your next adventure, organizers say.

The VIMFF works to connect the global outdoor community with international filmmakers, creators and speakers, to inspire, entertain and bring mountain adventure to viewers. Included are mountain film screenings, live multimedia presentations, photography exhibitions, workshops, seminars and other special events.

Learn more and plan your viewing at vimff.org.
