Best of the Best: Prince of Whales earns Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Award

Prince of Whales whale watching company has been recognized in Tripadivsor’s 2024 Travellers’ Choice Awards as the best experience in Canada.

The award honours businesses that consistently earn great reviews, placing them among Tripadvisor’s top 10 per cent worldwide listings.

Founded in 1993, Prince of Whales Whale & Marine Wildlife Adventures has operations located in Victoria, Vancouver, and Telegraph Cove.

According to a news release from Prince of Whales, the Travellers’ Choice Awards Best of the Best title celebrates the highest level of excellence in travel. It’s awarded to those who receive a high volume of above-and-beyond reviews and opinions from the Tripadvisor community over a 12-month period.

Out of eight million listings, fewer than 1 per cent have achieved this milestone. The award is “based on genuine feedback from anyone in the community who has visited and left an authentic, first-hand review on Tripadvisor, making it a valuable and trustworthy designation of great places to visit,” the release says.

Prince of Whales’ Vancouver Half-Day tour and its Sea Vancouver City & Harbour tour are Canada’s first and eighth experiences, respectively, on the list.
